Mr. Winter Meets Ms. Blondie
Episode Ten - The Boy Named Jack Frost
Everything had been unusually calm since the day Jack Frost was last
seen.
It wasn’t because
that he was causing the whole mayhem. It wasn’t because he’s mad at Rapunzel,
who’s mad at him at the same time. And it wasn’t because he was going off
somewhere.
It’s because he
figured every girl should get her distance.
For a confused
girl like Rapunzel, all she could ever think was Jack finally gave up, or got
his head bumped somewhere to the realization she wasn’t worth his handsome and
precious time. All of a sudden, something of her was bothering her. Had she
done the right thing, or just made everything worse?
After that day
when Jack Frost left and never came back, there wasn’t a moment she felt
vulnerable. Her frying pan was nowhere to be found—her single defence—and she
was certain she knew nothing how to defend herself.
And for any
reason, being locked up in a tower caused it.
When everything
was so eerily quiet all of a sudden, or when the wind would blow so hard,
Rapunzel’s heart was running miles. Even Pascal looked so perturbed that he
would always camouflage into the colour of Rapunzel’s dress. Jack Frost sure
brings cold and harsh winds when he arrives, but the recent events weren’t the
same. It’s as if it had been easy for her to tell if Jack Frost was coming.
And not just some
mist trying to ruin her life.
